Job: Nail Artist – Premium Beauty Salon

We are in need of a highly skilled cosmetologist to aid customers in improving their physical appearance. It is of the utmost importance to be sensitive to the clients wishes and desires and to provide them with the most suitable services and to up- and cross-sell while building confidence and customer loyalty. The ideal is to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and to increase the long-term success for our business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide Manicures and Pedicures such as removal of previously applied nail polish, shape and smooth the ends of nails, clean the nails, soften, push back and trim nail cuticles, gel coverings, silk strengthener, and apply polish onto nails.
• Maintain Sanitary Workstation by upholding a strict standard of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and established policies and procedures.
• Build Customer Relationships by ensuring outstanding customer service and communication/execution of satisfactory procedure. Welcoming attitude and professional presentation is important.

REQUIREMENTS:

Personal

• Creative and Artistic professional, who shows a very strong eye for detail.
• Working with care and take pride in meeting customer expectations.
• Good interpersonal skills to carry on a conversation with anyone.

Technical

• Current state manicurist (nail specialist) or cosmetology license.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft word and Excel preferred.
• Basic math skills with ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Up-to-date knowledge of cosmetology trends and skills.
• Active experiences in clientele building and relatable technical works
