Our client for this career opportunity is the Travel Retail and Latin America office of a luxury beauty company.

Objective

Run all the trade marketing functions for the brand on the Latin American Domestic markets and the Americas Travel Retail markets.

Job Description

KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Communicate Corporate Marketing Plan and Launch Guidelines to all clients.
  • Oversee all strategic launches and liaise between distributor markets, Latam Subsidiaries and HQ.
  • Oversee local implementation of Corporate Guidelines (Marketing, PR, Advertising, Social Media, Merchandising, Training tools) and ensure synergies between all group entities.
  • Maintain constant liaisons with Editors and Publishers of leading publications.
  • Analyse and report on local launch results.
  • Manage regional forecasting for all launches and PLV materials.
  • Ensure the brand’s philosophy, mission, values and vision are consistently being implemented in Local Markets and TR.
  • Organize & execute the local production of all creative materials (Print Advertising, OOH, POS materials)
  • Implementation of the digital strategy (Campaigns, SEO, SEA, Social Media)
  • Debrief quarterly launches to our media partners.
  • Develop, negotiate and implement the brand’ss media strategy for Latam
  • Create and send Monthly Newsletter
  • Update Monthly Wholesale/Retail Sales Report

MARKETING MANAGEMENT

  • Oversee all Trade Marketing activities for Export Latin America and TR Americas.
  • Ensure Brand Image and Equity is respected in markets.
  • Manage regional forecasting for all launches and PLV materials.
  • Work closely with HQ to ensure brand consistency and alignment with global marketing strategy.

PUBLIC AND PRESS RELATIONS

 

  • Manage and lead all corporate events (press trips, BA Seminars, Distributor seminar, etc.) from planning to execution.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of all local market press events and photo shoots.
  • Input all local clipping reports in the Web Press Report.
  • Ensure  brand messages are accurately conveyed in all media through Press Kits and direct communication.

DIGITAL MARKETING

 

  • Manage and update Brand’s Latam Instagram account.
  • Supply images/artwork for local Latam Facebook accounts. Liaise with HQ.
  • Supply corporate guidelines and images for all 3rd party e-commerce sites.
  • Communicate and implement the brand’s digital strategy with all local partners.
  • Manage the usage of all  tools available (extranet, PR lounge, Web press report)

OTHER FUNCTIONS

 

  • General office management including:
  • Organize teams’ Monthly Expense Reports
  • Ordering all office supplies
  • Ordering office stock

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Marketing Manager in the Luxury Beauty Industry
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish. French a plus.
  • Self-motivated, driven & results oriented
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • High sense of luxury, brand image and sophistication.
  • Proficient computer skills necessary – Microsoft Office (Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Appreciated previous experience: Clarins, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Kiehl’s, L’Oreal, La Prairie, Creme de La Mer, Richemont, Redken, Guerlain, LVMH, Dior, Kenzo, Givenchy, Chanel, Gucci, Lancome, Shiseido, BPI (Beaute Prestige International), Tairo, Sisley, Essence Corp, Cartier, L’Occitane.
  • Appreciated previous titles: Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, Marketing Director
