Job Description
Our Client
Our client for this career opportunity is an international Travel Retail / Duty Free operator developing its business in the Americas.
Objective
Manage the development of the゠specialty retail opportunities and projects for the company (mono brand stores in fashion and luxury goods in Airports across the Americas). Manage relationship with the brands in terms of purchasing and image building. Ensure proper assortment for each region.
Ideal Profile
The ideal profile for this role is someone with previous experience in luxury travel retail, or in domestic retail with multi-store operations.
Job Description
- Strategically responsible for a set luxury brand portfolio
- Price and terms negotiations with international vendors and development of assortment
- Planning/ documentation and execution of order process for seasonal brands
- Constant challenging of the process on assortment efficiency and overview of the stock situation
- Ensuring optimal supply chain with the demand planer in term of costs, quality and performance.
- P&L responsibility for the retail boutiques
- Staff management
- Sales activities
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration or comparable level education
- (Fashion) Purchasing experience (seasonal collections, order process)
- Several years of experience in product management or purchasing with international luxury companies and/or in the TR industry
- Retail experience (mono/ multi brand stores)
- Experience in the field of international luxury goods and/or consumer goods
- Ability to travel (especially during seasonal orders)
- Negotiation skills in several languages (fluent in English, Spanish preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
- Excellent data evaluation and analytical skills
- Experience with SAP/ ERP
