Job Description

Our client

Our client is a premium / luxury leather supplier selling to leather goods manufacturers, mostly in France in Italy.

Objective

  • Develop new account in France and Italy

Requirements

  • Business Development / Sales background with a minimum of 3 – 5 years in the luxury leather, if not more
  • A “book” of luxury contacts specifically brands under the umbrella of Kering, LVMH, Richemont
  • Experience in closing sales, bringing in reputable business and also covering manufacturing, procurement, supply chain
  • Another European language (ideally two like French and Italian)
  • Self motivated – with the ability to make all appointments and control own diary
  • Passion for the product
  • ‘Charm’ and the ability to build relationships through face to face appointments, rather than just make sales calls
  • Respect and understanding of other cultures
