Job Description
Our client
Our client is a premium / luxury leather supplier selling to leather goods manufacturers, mostly in France in Italy.
Objective
- Develop new account in France and Italy
Requirements
- Business Development / Sales background with a minimum of 3 – 5 years in the luxury leather, if not more
- A “book” of luxury contacts specifically brands under the umbrella of Kering, LVMH, Richemont
- Experience in closing sales, bringing in reputable business and also covering manufacturing, procurement, supply chain
- Another European language (ideally two like French and Italian)
- Self motivated – with the ability to make all appointments and control own diary
- Passion for the product
- ‘Charm’ and the ability to build relationships through face to face appointments, rather than just make sales calls
- Respect and understanding of other cultures
