Our client for this Account Executive job opportunity is a contract manufacturing company based in New Jersey with plants in the US and China. They are specialized in Color Cosmetics / Make-up and packaging. They mostly sell under private label, but have also developed 2 brands still in early stages of development.
The Account Executive will be in charge of developing existing and new accounts such as cosmetic companies (large groups and indie brands), department stores, online retailers etc…
We need a commercially aggressive sales person / sales hunter who would ideally come with existing contacts in the cosmetics industry. Previous experience in contract manufacturing and private label cosmetics would be a very important plus! Knowledge of product development would also help a lot.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5+ years’ relevant experience in contract manufacturing and private label cosmetic products
- Sales experience managing Major Retail and E-Commerce accounts
- Strong “sales hunter” / business developer with existing connections in the beauty department of large department stores
- Appreciated previous experience: Chanel, Christian Dior, Clarins, Estee Lauder, Givenchy, Guerlain, Kenzo, LVMH, Puig, Roger & Gallet, YSL, Chanel, L’Oreal, Clarins
- Appreciated previous titles: National Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Sales Director, Account Manager, Account Executive.
