Our client is a private equity backed premium European mineral water. It is still a small company with about 20 people in Europe organized around the manufacturing and 1 sales person in the US. Their key European markets are Germany, Italy and UK, but the US represents their highest potential market! That is why the investors based in Los Angeles want this role being based next to them in Southern California.
The right CEO candidate will be expected to design and implement a successful business development strategy for the US market, starting with a strong on-premise presence with premium restaurants and hotels. In the meantime the CEO will also be supervising the manufacturing in Europe and the development of the key European markets, as well as few others that have already been open internationally.
We need a dynamic sales and business development executive interested in stepping up to a C-level role in a small structure. Previous experience in food-service / on premise sales of premium food & beverage products is a strict requirement. We would also ideally need someone who has international sales experience. Italian fluency is required!
