Our client is a luxury goods group operating stores across Florida (mainly Miami-Dade, Broward and West Palm Beach).

Objective of the Role

The Director of Ecommerce and Events will spearhead the development of innovative ecommerce solutions and event services for the group brands. This role is critical in driving growth by enhancing consumer engagement across various platforms and channels.

The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with extensive experience in the luxury retail sector, particularly in driving ecommerce growth and supervising the organization of high-end events. With over 10 years of leadership experience, they possess a proven track record of developing and mentoring teams, setting strategic goals, and managing budgets effectively. We need someone with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.


  • Forge a compelling strategic vision to leverage novel ecommerce and event-driven approaches for enhancing consumer engagement.
  • Build and scale capabilities across channels, ensuring seamless consumer experiences.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a team dedicated to unlocking new growth avenues, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Collaborate across departments to cultivate enthusiasm and support for cross-channel initiatives, aligning with common business objectives.
  • Manage financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and setting efficiency targets, to maximize ROI across all marketing efforts.
  • Initiate and evaluate marketing experiments and partnerships to enhance customer engagement and experience, driving significant growth investments’ ROI.
  • Serve as a senior liaison with external agencies and media partners, negotiating and nurturing long-term relationships to benefit the organization.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends through networking and research, continuously exploring and implementing innovative tools and systems.


  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred, with a focus on relevant fields.
  • Over 10 years of leadership experience in retail, sales, and/or ecommerce within the luxury retail industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, with a strong emphasis on growth, coaching, and capability enhancement.
  • Comprehensive experience in budget management, forecasting, and achieving marketing targets (CPA, LTV, ROI).
  • Profound understanding of omnichannel business models and customer journeys.
  • Skilled in developing and managing impactful direct response campaigns that align with brand ethos.
  • Strategic mindset, capable of translating insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively across various departments.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, combined with a highly analytical and structured approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
