Our Client

Our client for this Fine Jewelry Salon Sales Associate job opportunity is a very famous fine jewelry brand with a boutique on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, FL



Sell high end luxury diamond and colored stone jewelry and watches. Help maintain store, showcases, inventory cards, vaults. Provide customer service. Develop client base.

Responsibilities of a Fine Jewelry Sales Associate

  • Build and develop a client base
  • Meet/exceed individual quarterly sales goals
  • Represent the brand at private and formal functions
  • Maintain relationships with customers via phone, mailings and e-mail
  • Keep window displays and showcases clean and attractive
  • Keep inventory organized and in impeccable condition
  • Promote the brand and the products
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Provide customers with an in-depth knowledge of the products
  • Sales processing
  • Credit card batch processing
  • Writing invoices, credits, insurance valuations
  • Keeping client files up to date
  • Filing, typing, copying documents

Knowledge & skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • PC literacy
  • Graduate gemologist degree or equivalent
  • Extensive sales experience in the high-end jewelry business
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of customer service
  • Business development and new client outreach


  • Five to ten years experience in the retail luxury industry
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Proven relationship building skills
  • Proven ability in closing sales with engaging presentation and communication skills
  • Experience in working independently and with a team
  • Established knowledge of fine jewelry (GIA courses or equivalent a +)
  • Appreciated previous experience: Boucheron, Buccellati, Bulgari, Cartier, Chopard, De Beers, FRED, Harry Winston,  Mikimoto, Tiffany, Van Cleef & Arpels
  • Appreciated previous titles: Sales Associate, Sales Consultant, Retail Sales, Sales Specialist, Retail Sales Consultant
