Job Description
Our Client
Our client is a small but established video game and game accessories distributors for Latin America. They also sell some hardware, software and accessories, consumer electronics, premium headsets, drones, other digital media products…
Objective
The Purchasing Director will be in charge of bringing new brands of video games and related consumer electronics to the portfolio. The Purchasing Director will also be in charge of running the purchasing department comprised of 2-3 Purchasing Managers. Important responsibilities also include working on inventory flows and processes.
Ideal Profile
The ideal profile is a purchasing director or senior buyer coming from a Consumer Electronic brand, distributor or retailer.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of buying experience in Consumer Electronics
- Bilingual English & Spanish
- Strong communication skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel in particular)
- Appreciated previous experience: Ingram Micro, Brightstar, Techdata..
- Appreciated previous titles: Purchasing Director, Buying Director, Senior Buyer
