Our Client

Our client for this opportunity is a famous luxury watch brand.

Objective

The Regional  Account Executive is responsible for driving wholesale sales in a defined territory and promoting sell through of the products at retail channels. The territory for this role will contain 26 doors between Florida, the Caribbean and Mexico.

Ideal Profile

If you have just a quick previous experience in international sales of luxury goods (watches, cosmetics, fragrances, accessories, etc…) and you have both excellent field relationship building skills as well as strategic vision and analytical skills, please apply! The job requires 70% travelling and fluency in Spanish. An experience in Luxury Watches still remains a very strong plus, for example with Richemont, Swatch Group or LVMH.

Job Description

  • Achieves annual sales targets, (i.e. sell-in and sell-through) by focusing on assortment, inventory levels, product positioning and product knowledge
  • Visits named retail customers the prescribed number of times, selling the brand to these customers in accordance with agreed annual targets 
  • Insures each door within the area meets brand guidelines, sales associate training and merchandising standards as prescribed by the company
  • Defines and implements prospection plan along with the VP Wholesale 
  • Coordinates sales associates training to enhance product knowledge and maximize sell-through
  • Manages annual co-op budget – allocates resources to accounts to maximize sell-through
  • Organizes/attends in Store Events in relationship with our Marketing Manager
  • Delivers reliable reporting in accordance with internal processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree minimum (MBA a plus)
  • Minimum 3 years sell-in and sell-through experience in W&J or Perfumes & Cosmetics strongly preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish and English required
  • Previous experience servicing Mexico-based accounts strongly preferred
  • Excellent with MS Office –Excel in particular
  • Strong with numbers
  • Self motivation and ability to handle several different roles within the territory (sales, training, merchandising etc)
  • Ability to travel 70%
  • Ability to adeptly manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication skills for creating correspondence
  • Demonstrated excellent ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner
  • Appreciated previous experience: Bulgari, Cartier, Dior Watches, Hamilton, LVMH, Movado, Richemont, Swatch Group
  • Appreciated previous titles: Area Sales Manager, Area Export Manager, Area Manager, Account Executive, Business Development Manager, Territory Manager
