Objective of the Role

The US Marketing Director will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to bolster the brand’s visibility and engagement across the US market. This role demands a strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively with global teams, particularly with counterparts in the company’s headquarters, to ensure the seamless alignment and execution of marketing initiatives. Based in Miami, this pivotal position within the US area business management team will spearhead all aspects of 360-marketing activation plans, directly contributing to the company’s growth and success in the direct-to-retail channel.

This individual should possess at least 7 years of experience in a similar role, showcasing a track record of successful marketing strategy development and implementation. A highly organized, energetic, and business-driven approach is essential, along with the ability to lead and inspire a team of marketing professionals. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills are crucial, as is the ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and multitask effectively. Proficiency in English is mandatory, with additional languages such as Spanish and Italian viewed favorably.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and delivery of operational marketing strategies and campaigns across the US market, ensuring alignment with global marketing guidelines.
  • Build and execute comprehensive marketing plans to achieve business targets, including the management and optimization of 360 marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee budget management, forecasting, and the efficient allocation and tracking of marketing expenditures.
  • Manage and report on monthly targets, sales outcomes, and stock levels, while ensuring the timely and on-budget launch of campaigns.
  • Lead and develop a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the brand guardian, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand message across all mediums.
  • Engage in proactive collaboration with cross-functional teams, enhancing internal communications and aligning company functions with marketing objectives.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing management, ideally within the luxury goods industry.
  • A higher education in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and developing a team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, with a keen understanding of marketing trends and analytics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Innovative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in Spanish and Italian as an advantage.
