Our client for this opportunity is the small US subsidiary of a well established French family owned cosmetics and skincare company.
For this Logistics & Administrative Coordinator position, 70% of the job will be logistics oriented to ensure proper execution of orders from processing to delivery and customer service. 30% will be more administrative with some light accounting.
We are looking for a strong coordinator with very good MS Excel skills and with previous experience in consumer or luxury goods (could come from a brand, a distributor, an agent, a retailer, a wholesaler…)
monitor incoming and outgoing flow of merchandise
establish purchase forecasts and deal directly with the suppliers
validate sales orders and margins along with upper management
liaise with logistic companies to follow-up transportation, manage storage and optimize costs
liaise with clients to organize the deliveries of merchandises
control and reconcile inventory on a monthly basis
monitor SAP-based reports and daily business reports
follow-up any other requests or issues along with other employees of the office
liaise and report to the HQ based in Paris, France.
2 to 5 years experience in a logistics/supply role
Very comfortable with numbers
VERY GOOD IN MS EXCEL
Effective administrator and communicator
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently as well as part of an international team
Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through oral and written communications
SAP experience a plus
Basis accounting knowledge helpful
Fluency in French would be a strong plus
