Objective
The Area Sales Manager will develop the duty market in Poland, Czech Republic and Russia for Mars.
Ideal Profile
We need a Sales executive with Duty Free / Travel Retail background and CPG / FMCG experience. Fluent in English and Russian.
Job Description
- Travel and meet with the distributors
- Forecast sales by product and by territory
- Budget and plan on a yearly basis with your clients
- Negotiate prices, quantity and spaces in POS
- Visit points of sales
- Advise your clients on how to spend their marketing budget
- Manage your P&L on your territory
- Visit points of sales
- Make sure the marketing plan and the merchandising is properly implemented
- Train the sales staff
- Coordinate promotional events and launches
- Control inventory
- Watch competition and market trends
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree minimum (MBA a plus)
- 3 to 5 years experience in the Travel Retail / Duty Free industry
- 3 to 5 years experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) (Confectionery, Food & Beverage, Beer, Wine, Spirits Liquors, Accessories, Fragrances, etc…)
- Bilingual English and RUSSIAN!
- Excellent with MS Office, Excel in particular
- VERY open to Travel internationally (50%) and work extended hours
- Familiar with multicultural and international environment
- Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Perfect presentation and communication skills
