Our client for this Sr Manager of Marketing is a dynamic and innovative leader in the beauty industry.
Objective of the Role
The primary objective of the Senior Marketing Manager position is to lead the marketing operations in the US market. This role involves close collaboration with the global teams, particularly those based in the European HQ, to ensure the successful implementation and adaptation of international strategies to the US market. The position, based in Miami, plays a crucial role within the business management team in the US, focusing on comprehensive 360-marketing activation plans for the brand.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a passion for the beauty industry and a minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing management, preferably within the luxury beauty sector. They should be energetic, organized, and business-driven, with a proven ability to lead and develop a team. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in English (Spanish would be a plus), and the capability to work under tight deadlines are essential. The candidate should have a background in creative marketing and digital marketing, ideally gained in a beauty or fashion environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement operational marketing strategies and campaigns across the region.
- Develop and execute marketing plans in alignment with headquarters’ guidelines to achieve business targets.
- Manage 360 marketing plan implementations, excluding media (managed globally), within the US business.
- Track and optimize marketing campaigns, focusing on below-the-line activities.
- Ensure efficient budget spending and timely accounting of expenses.
- Oversee the implementation of animation plans, coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
- Handle budget management, forecasting, and monthly target reporting.
- Lead a team of marketing experts and maintain regular contact with local finance, e-retail business, and monitor competition.
- Be the brand guardian, ensuring consistency in copy, design, and creative approaches.
- Collaborate with other teams and engage in internal communications to inform relevant functions of marketing initiatives.
- Identify marketing trends, gather insights, and optimize spend based on these insights.
- Direct creative solutions across the business, developing brand identities through imagery, content, and editorial.
- Work with the Management Team and Sales representatives to plan promotions and events.
Requirements
- A degree in marketing or a related field from a recognized business school or university.
- At least 7 years of experience in marketing management, with a preference for experience in the luxury beauty sector.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams, with a capacity for multitasking and prioritization.
- Experience leading and developing a team.
- Proficiency in English (Spanish would be a plus)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to perform under pressure.
- A proactive approach to taking on responsibilities and improving processes.
- Capacity to propose and present new ideas, engage with different teams, and maintain effective internal communications.
