Our client is developing a highly exclusive private members club aboard a purpose-built superyacht, integrating luxury hospitality, shared ownership, and access to elite lifestyle experiences. This ultra-high-end offering is supported by a global luxury automotive company, contributing to both design vision and cultural alignment. The membership is uniquely curated, targeting ultra-high-net-worth individuals who embody the club’s values of trust, discretion, and personal excellence.

Objective of the Role

The Head of Membership Sales will lead the strategic initiatives for member acquisition and engagement, focusing on building lasting relationships within a highly selective member community. This role is designed to secure 300 members primarily from the United States and other key markets within a specified timeframe, while fostering a culture of discretion and exclusivity that aligns with our client’s brand ethos.

Ideal Profile

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in sales-oriented roles targeting ultra-high-net-worth individuals within luxury sectors such as automotive, real estate, or private banking. They will demonstrate proficiency in relationship management and possess the strategic insight to curate a membership community that reflects the club’s core values.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a global membership acquisition strategy targeting UHNW individuals and influencers.
  • Develop and oversee a curated sales pipeline through personal outreach, strategic referrals, and private introductions.
  • Engage and convert prospective members in line with the community’s ethos and objectives.
  • Represent the club at strategic gatherings, enhancing brand visibility and member engagement.
  • Collaborate with operations and brand teams to craft cohesive onboarding experiences for new members.
  • Build and lead a high-performing membership coordination team.
  • Maintain structured CRM processes and provide regular insights to management.
  • Contribute to shaping member benefits and experiences based on community feedback.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8-10 years experience in high-end sales or relationship management targeting UHNWIs.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to connect across diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence and credibility in managing high-touch relationships.
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities, with strategic foresight.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
