Our Client

Our client is the new skincare brand of a leading group specialized in producing Hyaluronic Acid for the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.

Objective

We are looking for a Marketing manager Skin care who is driven by creating new, innovative marketing ideas that challenge the status quo and disrupt the beauty world. This person will be responsible for leading the creation and execution of innovative, integrated and cost effective 360 marketing plans to drive sales, energize consumer engagement, and build brand awareness. You will serve as the key strategic lead, idea generator and main marketing contact to internal and external functional partners and key channels of distribution. You will lead the digital strategy.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of working closely with brand founders, influencers, celebrities, as well as building meaningful collaborations that drive sales and consumer engagement.

Job Description

  • Overall responsibility for strategizing, planning and directing all marketing efforts of the Finished Skin care products in NA/LATAM
  • Lead digital strategy
  • Increase product’s visibility via social media and advertisements
  • Develop brand strategy, set well defined brand positioning, drive portfolio strategy
  • Drive new product development to ensure the competitiveness of the Brands
  • Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing/communications/social media/public relations/trade programs and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance
  • Responsible for developing the annual marketing plan for the US Finished Products BU
  • Stay abreast on global market trends, keep a close eye on competitors’ strategy and activities and be quick to react with strong and relevant programs
  • Align closely with the Global Marketing, Production, Regulatory and Sales departments to drive key product launches and marketing campaigns across the country
  • Support the communication needs of the CMO Business Unit
  • Analyze data, new trends and insights and generate ideas on how to translate into ideas for the brand
  • Collaborate with Sales, Digital and Creative teams to develop synergy in campaigns and calendars, and ensuring differentiation between channels
  • Develop measurement tools, establish KPI’s and benchmarks for measuring impact of marketing efforts in order to determine campaign effectiveness
  • Report monthly results and key learnings to leadership team and stakeholders
  • Ensure all stakeholders (including planning & inventory) have access to calendar, receives regular updates on additions or changes

Accountability

  • Ensure Strategy Plan are developed and implemented to support achievement of revenue and profit targets for the Business Unit
  • Provide Monthly Report to Senior Manager
  • Ensure all approved marketing plans are implemented and evaluated to ensure they are within budget and time schedule
  • Drive new product development and ensure timeliness of launches
  • Lead and manage all Brands packaging for the Business Unit

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in B2C marketing capacity, Cosmetics industry is a must
  • 3+ years in a leadership capacity with FMCG, preferentially in skincare industry
  • Able to work independently, positive approach, self-motivate, results driven, and has a good work ethic
  • Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, strong organizational and time management skills
  • Appreciated previous experience: Chanel, Christian Dior, Clarins, Estee Lauder, Givenchy, Coty, Interparfums, Guerlain, Kenzo, LVMH, Puig, Roger & Gallet, YSL, Chanel, L’Oreal, Clarins
  • Appreciated previous titles: Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, Marketing Director, Brand Director
