Job: VP of Trade Marketing (Tobacco alternative)

The employer for this VP of Trade Marketing opportunity is a publicly traded company established in 2020. They have developed an alternative to tobacco cigarettes with no tobacco and no nicotine.

Ideal Profile

They need a trade marketing executive with a strong experience in the convenience store channel. Any convenience category can be considered (tobacco, adult beverage, sodas, chips, nuts, beef jerky…). The position has to be based in Las Vegas, NV (no remote work).

Responsibilities

• Support existing Distributors and retail chains
  • Coordinate distribution promotions at cash n carry’s
  • Train distributors sales teams
  • Work with distributors DSD teams to improve sell-in and merchandising
  • Coordinate consumer engagement team at retail stores
• Cultivate programs that ensure product sells in-stores
• Maintain customer relationships for future repurchases
• Manage inside sales team
  • Oversee CRM data
  • Set KPI’s weekly/ monthly goals and manage team to execute
  • Manage execution of cold leads and hot leads
• CRM system oversight
  • Improve CRM system
• Coordinate and manage B2B trade show schedule

Requirements

• Must be based in Las Vegas, NV
• Strong sales or trade marketing experience in the convenience channel.
• Ideally with a previous experience in Fortune 500 CPG companies for best practices, but also with proven entrepreneurial successes in smaller/ startup companies.
• Very proficient in MS Excel
• Strong communication skills
• Appreciated previous titles: Trade Marketing Director, Commercial Director, Sales Director, VP of Sales, VP of Marketing
• Appreciated previous experience: Tobacco, Snacks, Beverage…
