Our Client
Our client for this opportunity is the Travel Retail team of a mid-size international fragrance company.
Objective
The Area Sales Manager will be in charge of developing sales on his/her territory (Asia Pacific゠Travel Retail), on both the sell-in and the sell-out aspects. Meeting with buyers, planning orders, activities, budgets for each year. Visiting store to verify the proper implementation of the plan, etc…
Ideal Profile
The ideal profile is a sales executive with previous experience in Travel Retail / Duty Free. Could come from any luxury goods category (Fragrance, Cosmetics, Watches, Jewelry, Leather Goods, Accessories, Wines Spirits…)
Job Description
- Responsible for Sales and business development in Asia Pacific
- Collaborate with the Regional TR manager in planning Sales & A&P investments in his area of responsibility
- Control and assure the coherence of the final execution of the planned Advertising and Promotional activities
- Build and maintain the relationship with business partners
- Provide the highest level of service to key clients in order to build strong and lasting relationships with Travel Retail players
- Achieve and increase brand visibility at store level
- Establishing new business with new partners in Asia Pacific, both DF stores and airlines
- Provide training to the Travel Retail operator staff on brand and product knowledge
- Analyse business progress, providing market analysis and recommendations
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree minimum (MBA a plus)
- 3 to 5 years experience in the luxury or consumer goods industries in travel retail (Perfumes, fragrances, watches, timepieces, jewelry, fashion, apparel, food & beverage, wine & spirits, consumer electronics, etc…)
- Fluent in English (Mandarin or Cantonese would be a plus)
- Excellent with MS Office, Excel in particular
- VERY open to Travel internationally and work extended hours
- Familiar with multicultural and international environment
- Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Perfect presentation and communication skills
