Our Client
Our client for this opportunity is the Latin America and Caribbean office of a very famous Luxury Watches & Jewelry Group.
Objective
The Area Sales Executive will be in charge of visiting his territories (Caribbean) to develop the business through a network or agents and retailers.
Ideal Profile
This Area Sales Executive is kind of a Junior Area Sales Manager open to people with 1 or 2 years of international sales in luxury goods with Caribbean or Latin America (luxury watches, jewelry, cosmetics, fragrances, fashion, accessories). The responsibilities are the same but with lower volume and smaller clients.
Job Description
- Forecast sales by product and by territory
- Travel and meet with the distributors
- Budget and plan on a yearly basis with your clients
- Negotiate prices, quantity and spaces in POS
- Advise your clients on how to spend their marketing budget
- Visit points of sales
- Make sure the marketing plan and the merchandising is properly implemented
- Train the sales staff
- Coordinate promotional events and launches
- Control inventory
- Watch competition and market trends
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree minimum
- 1 to 2 years experience in the luxury goods industries, latin american local markets or travel retail (Perfumes, fragrances, luxury watches, timepieces, jewelry, fashion, apparel, food & beverage, wine & spirits, consumer electronics, etc…)
- Bilingual English and Spanish would be a strong plus
- Good MS office skills
- VERY open to Travel a lot internationally and work extended hours
- Familiar with multicultural and international environment
- Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Perfect presentation and communication skills
- Up to date US work authorization (no sponsorship available)
