Our Client
Our client is a key player in the confectionery category in Duty Free. They want to strengthen their Travel Retail team by adding an experienced Duty Free Area Sales Manager ideally located in Hong-Kong.
Objective
The objective for this Travel Retail Area Sales Manager is to develop relationship and business with the key Duty Free Distributors and Operators of the Asia Pacific Region.
Ideal Profile
The ideal profile for this Area Sales Manager position is someone coming from the Duty Free/ Travel Retail industry with a successful previous experience as an Area Sales Manager in the Asia Pacific Region. The Category of product is not a must (could be: Fragrances, Cosmetics, Wine & Spirits, Tobacco, Watches & Accessories…)
Job Description
- Maintain the high level of recognition of the company / brand name in the Duty Free
- Design, implement and enforce procedures required to be able to grow the business with existing and new customers
- Follow-up of promotional activities designed with the Marketing department
- Manage your sales forecasts and marketing budgets precisely
- Watch competition and local legal requirements
- Develop marketing and promotional activities to support sales in the points of sales
- Analyze your monthly sales and explain variances
Requirements
- MBA strongly preferred
- 3 to 5 years experience in the luxury or consumer goods industries in the Travel Retail / Duty Free channels or in international sales for the Asia-Pacific region (Perfumes, fragrances, watches, timepieces, jewelry, fashion, apparel, food & beverage, wine & spirits, consumer electronics, etc…)
- Fluent in English
- Excellent with MS Office, Excel in particular
- VERY open to Travel internationally and work extended hours
- Familiar with multicultural and international environment
- Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Perfect presentation and communication skills
- Appreciated previous experience: Bulgari, Cartier, Christian Dior, Clarins, Clinique, Cosmetics of France, Coty, Elizabeth Arden, Essence Corp, Estee Lauder, Givenchy, Guerlain, Kenzo, Kiehl’s, L’Oreal, LVMH, MAC Cosmetics, Occitane, P&G, Parbel, Procter & Gamble, Roger & Gallet, YSL Beaute, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey, Roland Berger, Mercer, Oliver Wyman
