Objective of the Role

The CEO will lead the commercial and operational facets of our client’s retail division, ensuring the seamless integration of strategy and execution. This role aims to propel the company into its next growth phase by leveraging strategic leadership, operational excellence, and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership and Growth
    • Set comprehensive performance and growth goals.
    • Develop and implement global business strategies and procedures.
    • Maintain and enhance the company’s competitive position.
    • Ensure operational integration with central fulfillment and operations.
  2. Commercial and Operational Excellence
    • Oversee day-to-day operations with timely and transparent communication to the board.
    • Develop and implement CRM, pricing, and commission strategies.
    • Structure the commercial department for efficient management of pop-up stores and event activations.
  3. Financial Leadership
    • Direct accountability for the Profit and Loss statement.
    • Lead financial strategy development, resource allocation, and cost management.
    • Analyze financial data and KPIs to identify performance improvement opportunities.
  4. Pop-Up Strategy and Event Activation
    • Lead strategic development and execution of pop-up store initiatives.
    • Evaluate and refine pop-up strategies to maximize ROI.
    • Collaborate with marketing and events teams to ensure successful event activations.
  5. Human Resources and Culture
    • Implement HR strategies for attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent.
    • Foster team cohesion and promote an inclusive work environment.
    • Ensure effective succession planning for key executive positions.
  6. Marcom
    • Develop and implement digital and social media strategies.
    • Enforce consistent visual standards across all operations.
    • Create comprehensive PR and communication plans to enhance brand awareness.
    • Optimize pop-up locations for maximum sales conversion.
    • Lead the development and execution of a global pop-up concept.
    • Oversee the creation and distribution of compelling content.
    • Design and implement marketing strategies for event activations.
  7. Risk Management and Compliance
    • Oversee risk management strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance.
    • Develop contingency plans to mitigate operational disruptions.
