Our client, an emerging presence in Miami’s Wynwood district, is launching a refined 150-seat Italian restaurant under the guidance of a distinguished Italian chef. The establishment aims to redefine authentic Italian dining in South Florida while embracing the artistic energy that defines Wynwood.

Objective of the Role

The Restaurant Manager will serve as the operational cornerstone, orchestrating seamless service delivery while maintaining the highest standards of Italian hospitality. They will work closely with the Italian chef to ensure the authentic vision of the restaurant is realized in every guest experience.

The ideal candidate is a sophisticated hospitality professional with a deep appreciation for Italian culture and cuisine. They should combine strategic thinking with hands-on management skills, demonstrating an ability to inspire teams and handle high-pressure situations with grace.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the 150-seat restaurant, ensuring exceptional service standards
  • Collaborate with the Italian chef to maintain menu integrity and coordinate operations
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team
  • Manage inventory, costs, and budgets while maximizing profitability
  • Handle guest relations and conflict resolution
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Oversee private events and special programming

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in upscale dining
  • Fluency in English and Italian is mandatory
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • Strong financial acumen with P&L management experience
  • Expert knowledge of wine and Italian cuisine
  • ServSafe certification
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
