Our Client
Our client for this opportunity is a゠very high end restaurant in New York. The owner has other restaurants and cannot keep on being present all the time.
Objective
The Maitre D’ (aka Maitre D’Hotel, aka Head Waiter) will be in charge of the゠”front of the house”, including supervising the゠waiting staff, welcoming guests and assigning tables to them, taking reservations゠and ensuring that guests are satisfied. The Maitre D’ will be the new face of the restaurant and will act as an ambassador. It is key that he or she recognizes the best clients or celebrities and treat them accordingly.

Job Description
- Welcome and greet clients
- Recognizing゠clients and their preferences / habits
- Advise and train staff on wine and food items on the menu
- Make sure clients leave゠happy
- Train staff on client relation and care as well as service
- Recruiting and motivation the staff
- Make sure the place is well maintain
- Help゠with marketing of the restaurant
Requirements
- Strong previous retail experience in゠high end restaurants
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong sales and networking skills.
