Job Description
Our Client
Our client for this opportunity is a processing and extraction lab in Denver, CO. They are selling bulk products as ingredients for the cosmetics, food and pharmaceutical industries, but also branded finished products to retail distribution networks.
Objective
The Sales Manager will develop both
- a portfolio of industrial accounts in cosmetics, food and pharmaceutical
- a network of distributors, agents and retailers for the branded product line currently under development
Ideal Profile
We need a sales hunter, motivated and experienced in opening new markets and new accounts. Previous experience in selling cannabis related products is highly preferred.
Job Description
- Develop strong relationship with retail and industrial buyers, management and sales staff
- Work with retailers to secure high visibility placement and merchandising for products and displays
- Coordinate and execute in-store consumer education events
- coordinate with retail staff to develop and execute promotions and sales contests
- Gather insight on opportunities and build a holistic understanding of retailers in your territory
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business preferred
- Ideally 2-3 years of experience in selling cannabis and hemp products
- Appreciated previous experience: Medmen, Cura CS, Kush Bottles, Mammoth Distribution…
- Appreciated previous titles: Area Sales Manager, Account Manager, Regional Manager, Sales Rep, Sales Manager
