Our client is an established, high-end foreign jewelry company, renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship and luxurious designs. Currently distributed in approximately 15 top-tier jewelry stores across the US, our client is set to launch their US flagship store on Madison Avenue, NYC. This new flagship location will serve as a cornerstone for their brand presence in the US, offering an unparalleled shopping experience to a discerning clientele.
Objective of the Role
The Retail Sales Consultant will represent our client’s brand as an ambassador, delivering personalized and exceptional customer service in line with the company’s values and luxury standards. The consultant will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with clients, guiding them through the purchasing experience, and ensuring that sales goals are consistently met or exceeded. This role requires an individual who can communicate the brand’s rich history and craftsmanship, while adapting to the needs of a discerning clientele.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate is an experienced retail professional with a passion for luxury jewelry and design, who thrives in an environment of high-touch customer interaction. They should possess a deep understanding of the luxury market, be detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. The consultant must be adept at relationship-building and have the ability to connect with a diverse and sophisticated customer base. Experience in high-end retail, a flair for customer service, and a love for fine jewelry and craftsmanship are key.
Responsibilities
- Sales & Customer Service: Deliver exceptional, tailored customer experiences, exceeding client expectations through deep product knowledge and a sophisticated sales approach.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients, offering post-sale support that aligns with the brand’s philosophy and values.
- Sales Performance: Consistently achieve and surpass sales targets while ensuring the highest level of customer service and product presentation.
- Brand Ambassador: Act as a brand advocate, conveying the client’s history, craftsmanship, and design innovations with passion and expertise.
- Store Operations: Support daily store operations, from managing inventory and handling transactions to assisting in maintaining visual merchandising standards that reflect the company’s luxury brand image.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in luxury retail sales, preferably within the jewelry sector or related industries such as high-end hospitality or fashion.
- Technical Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and general computer literacy.
- Behavioral Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, and attention to detail. The ability to work collaboratively in a team and autonomously, following corporate guidelines.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to connect with a diverse, luxury clientele, with a passion for fashion, art, and design trends.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with additional languages highly desirable.
