Job Description
Objective
Implementation of the sales strategy, including all its characteristics (wholesale distribution, animation, management of the US store network…) under the responsibility of the Global Sales Manager located in France
Ideal Profile
The ideal profile is a sales or business development executive coming from the beauty industry (ideally fragrances and perfumes) or home decor, who has a previous experience managing agents and an existing network of US domestic contacts (visiting points on sales, recruiting, training, etc…)
Job Description
- Implementation of the US sales strategy,
- Organization and development of the US sales network:
- Consolidation and loyalty of the current sales network (distributors, sales agent, retail, website…)
- Prospecting and opening to competition for sales partners
- Bargaining of sales offers,
- Monitoring of revenue and operational margin within each distribution channel (on a weekly, monthly and annual basis…),
- Assistance to the development and updating of distribution and wholesale catalogues,
- Training on the different US sales points and embodiment of Brand Ambassador for distributors, sales agents and directly managed sales point,
- Daily issues follow-up and after-sales control:
- Sales network feedbacks collection and analysis: products, prices; displays, competitors, others…
- Development of a testing policy and follow-up of the free product policy by distributors,
- Competitive intelligence
Requirements
- An excellent teamwork spirit and a capacity to motivate employees and team members,
- Extensive internal and external communication skills and interpersonal abilities,
- A successful experience led in sales development within a high-end perfume, cosmetics, decoration, fashion/luxury accessories company,
- A good know-how of the working and characteristics of the different US distribution channels,
- Strong computer skills,
- A strong discipline, excellent analysis and synthesis abilities
- A real enthusiasm for the brand environment,
- An ability to frequently travel in the United States,
- A strong French background (being able to speak French is a massive plus)
