Objective of the Role

The primary objective of the VP / Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) role is to scale the business effectively, assisting directly the CEO in building the vision and the strategy for the company’s future. The focus will be on implementing a robust direct-to-consumer (DTC) online strategy to drive growth. As part of the succession planning for key leadership roles, the VP/CRO will play a pivotal role in expanding the consumer base online and ensuring a seamless transition in management.

Ideal Profile

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in beauty. They should possess significant experience in roles such as Vice President of Sales, Business Development, President, or General Manager. Familiarity with fast-paced fashion trends will be advantageous. The candidate must also be adept in execution and have a proven track record in driving revenue growth across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee overall organizational growth and development, including developing and tracking performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of organizational goals
  • Lead and execute the sales strategy, focusing on both mass retail and DTC channels.
  • Oversee marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and drive online sales.
  • Collaborate with product development to create innovative products that resonate with market trends.
  • Manage the eCommerce strategy to maximize online consumer engagement and transactions.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategic adjustments to achieve growth targets.
  • Develop and track performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with other executives and departments to align organizational resources and objectives.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in marketing, business administration or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and revenue management roles, particularly in the beauty and fashion sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and execute strategies effectively in a competitive market.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive actionable insights from data.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and align cross-functional teams.
  • Innovative mindset with a passion for creativity and branding.
  • Proficient with digital marketing and eCommerce platforms.
