Objective
Our client is in search of a dynamic, data-driven, and strategic VP of Growth to join the executive leadership team, focusing on digital and e-commerce initiatives. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies across digital marketing, online sales, and product development to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. This role presents a unique opportunity to significantly impact the company’s growth trajectory and success in the rapidly evolving beauty industry.

The ideal candidate is an experienced growth leader with a strong background in the beauty industry, a passion for digital marketing, e-commerce, and online sales strategies, and a proven track record of scaling DTC businesses. They possess outstanding analytical, communication, and leadership skills, and excel in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital growth strategy that aligns with the company’s vision, values, and business objectives.
- Drive customer acquisition and retention through effective digital marketing, content marketing, social media, and e-commerce strategies, including online marketplaces such as Amazon.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and engineering, to optimize the customer journey and create a seamless online user experience.
- Establish data-driven processes for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on key growth metrics to inform decision-making and measure success in digital channels.
- Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation to identify new growth opportunities and emerging trends in the digital beauty space and e-commerce landscape.
- Build and lead a high-performing digital growth team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
- Work closely with the executive team to set revenue targets, allocate budgets, and provide strategic recommendations for digital and e-commerce initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in growth-focused roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity and a focus on digital marketing and e-commerce.
- Demonstrated success in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth in the beauty industry, specifically for DTC brands and online marketplaces such as Amazon.
- Comprehensive knowledge of performance marketing, customer segmentation, and digital marketing channels, including paid social, SEM, SEO, and email marketing.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex data sets and make data-informed decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Experience in hiring, managing, and developing high-performing teams.
