Objective of the Role
The East Coast Sales Manager will be instrumental in steering the sales policies, objectives, and initiatives across the high-end skincare product lines in the Eastern United States. The role demands a proactive, results-driven approach, focusing on expanding market presence and achieving targeted sales outcomes through effective strategy implementation and team leadership.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced sales professional with a proven track record in the skincare industry. This individual should be a self-starter capable of driving sales growth, optimizing in-store operations, and fostering strong relationships with retail partners and customers. The role requires extensive travel and hands-on engagement across various sales venues.
Responsibilities
- Sales and Market Expansion: Increase market share and achieve sell-out targets by optimizing sales strategies and maintaining daily presence on the sales floor.
- Relationship Management: Build and sustain relationships with store management and retail teams, ensuring alignment with company goals and optimal customer experience.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage in-store Beauty Advisors, developing metrics and ensuring targets are met.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the National Sales Manager and other key stakeholders to plan events, set budgets, and coordinate merchandising efforts.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor competitive activities, analyze sales data, and report on key performance indicators to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: A bachelor’s degree is preferred with at least five years of experience in sales roles within the high-end retail sector, specifically in skincare.
- Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, fluent in English (fluency in Mandarin or Spanish is a plus). Demonstrates creative problem-solving abilities, strong analytical skills, and the capacity to work independently.
- Characteristics: Entrepreneurial and adaptable, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
