Objective of the Role
The Senior Manager of Performance Marketing will lead the strategic development and execution of data-driven marketing initiatives aimed at driving customer acquisition and revenue growth. This role requires a hands-on leader who can oversee performance marketing programs, optimize campaign performance, and leverage data insights to identify new opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in growth marketing within the B2B e-commerce space and a strong ability to pivot strategies based on real-time data. This position is fully remote and open to candidates located anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive performance marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, optimize conversion rates, and increase revenue growth. Identify and evaluate new marketing opportunities to expand reach and improve engagement.
- Budget Management: Oversee the performance marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum ROI. Track spend and performance metrics, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
- Campaign Execution & Optimization: Lead the execution of marketing campaigns across digital channels, including paid search, social media, and display advertising. Analyze performance data, iterate quickly, and optimize campaigns to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Program Ownership: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and optimal performance. Proactively identify challenges and pivot strategies as needed to meet business objectives.
- Collaboration & Partnerships: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Analytics, Design/Creative, Engineering, and Product Marketing, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of initiatives. Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track campaign effectiveness. Provide senior leadership with detailed reports and actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- 8-10+ years of experience in growth marketing within e-commerce, preferably in a B2B environment.
- 2+ years of experience managing and mentoring teams.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of leveraging data to inform marketing strategies and optimize performance.
- Expertise in digital advertising platforms, including Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
- Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), SQL, and Power BI is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to test and implement creative approaches to marketing challenges.
- Excellent communication and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
