Job Description
Our Client
Our client for this position is European mid-size international Premium Chocolate brand, with very strong export business around the globe.
Objective
The role of this Business Development Manager Asia Travel Retail will entail the support of sales within the Global Travel Retail Team with a focus on the Asian region from a Hong-Kong base. The daily tasks will include business development, management of regional accounts, training support, field visits and general support toward monthly sales reporting activities.
Job Description
- Responsible of the P&L and the budget follow-up within your assigned region (Hong-Kong and the rest of Asia)
- Develop, implement and follow-up the annual commercial planning
- Follow-up on space allocations, planograms implementation and in-store activations
- Analyze customer segments and market needs and translate them into concrete action plans
- Perform Field analysis and market researches to detect potential risk factors, new business opportunities, untapped potential, market performance…
- Manage dedicated regional accounts, follow up on the agreed contracts, tasks and take corrective measures when needed
- Contribute towards volume forecasting for permanent and seasonal ranges
- Provide monthly analysis on dedicated regional accounts : sales data analysis, NPD launches, risks/opportunities, sales highlights, key market development and actions
- Liaise with accounting department and follow-up on payment issues
Requirements
- Master degree in Business, Marketing or Finance
- Proficient in MS Office, knowledge of SAP is an asset
- Relevant work experience within the travel retail sector equivalent to 3 years
- Highly motivated with strong commercial awareness and the ability to use commercial knowledge to increase profit and business growth
- Excellent communication, presentation & analytical skills
- Results oriented, team player, at ease to work independently, relationship builder & open minded
- Open to travel ( up to 60% )
- Bilingual : English-Chinese, French is an asset
