Our client is the most well know luxury fashion brand in India. They are opening a flagship store in NYC with ethnic wear, western wear, fine jewelry and accessories.
Ideal Profile
We are looking for a Store Director / Retail General Manager coming for a well know luxury goods brand and familiar with a very multi-cultural environment.
Job Description
- Points person for all communication & coordination between NY and Kolkata team
- Ability to manage diverse workforce
- Creating and maintaining an inclusive work environment
- P&L management – top line, bottom line and costs
- Strategic VIP Clienteling
- Partnerships with other non-compete brands for co-branding
- Business Development
- Customer service
- Creating and Maintaining Store Operating Standards
- Loss prevention
- Liasoning and Coordination with the Merchandising / Production team
- Brand ambassador and custodian of Brand Values
Requirements
- 8 – 10 years experience
- History of working in Luxury Retail
- Strong knowledge of the NYC market
- Gathering & providing market intelligence to business
- Clienteling and customer service
- Has managed P&L
- Team builder
- Experience of managing 20-30 membered teams
- Communication skills
- Retail operations incl. scheduling, setting store standards, logistics management
- Merchandise management
- Experience in marketing, promotions
- Responsible for in-store training of Employees
- Merchandising along with merchandisers
- Dealing with high net worth individuals
- Appreciated previous experience: Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior, Hermes, Cartier
- Appreciated previous titles: Store Director, Head of Retail, VP of Retail, Director of Stores, VP of Retail Operations, Regional Director, Director of Retail Operations, Regional Retail Director, District Manager.
