Job Description
*** Part-time or full-time consulting mission (about 6 months) ***
Our Client
Our client is a large Retail Design agency with about 200 people and 3 offices in Paris, Shanghai and Hong-Kong. They are now opening up a 4th office in New York.
Objective
Our client is working with a new cosmetics company that has been under development for a couple of years. Now that the products are ready, the agency is in charge of the launch, the branding, the development of their Direct-to-consumer website, their social media, etc… They need an Ecommerce Consultant with experience in the beauty industry and who can help them take all the ecommerce strategic decisions, in terms of technology, design , user experience, etc… This is not a creative position, and it doesn’t require coding, skills, but the right candidates must have experience in dealing with creatives and coders…
The mission can then evolve into a smaller part-time mission of maintenance / improvement of the ecommerce tools.
Ideal profile
We are looking for a freelancer or an independent consultant who can dedicate 50% or more of their time in the coming 4-6 months.
Requirements
- 10 years of ecommerce
- Experience in choosing the right ecommerce platform (Magento, Woocommerce, Shopify, Prestashop…)
- Experience in UX
- Analytics
- Experience in the beauty / cosmetics industry is required
- Experience in social media would be a strong plus
- Appreciated previous experience: Bulgari, Cartier, Christian Dior, Clarins, Clinique, Cosmetics of France, Coty, Elizabeth Arden, Essence Corp, Estee Lauder, Givenchy, Guerlain, Kenzo, Kiehl’s, L’Oreal, LVMH, MAC Cosmetics, Occitane, P&G, Parbel, Procter & Gamble, Roger & Gallet, YSL Beaute
