We are looking for an ambitious and organized sales person in Miami who will join the team to pursue commercial opportunities in our USA Duty Free and Micronesia domestic markets. Reporting to the Area Sales Manager USA Duty Free and Micronesia based in Miami, you will contribute to the area business growth by effective implementation of business strategy in the field. Job Description

  • Channel Development Programs: Effectively implement strategic programs (sales, distribution, and trade incentives programs) within the USA Duty Free channels (airport, airlines and cruses) and Micronesia domestic market as defined by Line Manager. Monitor progress and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
  • Customer Engagement Programs: Support the development and implementation in order to ensure the company’s approach is adhered to compliance policies.
  • Key Account Management: Work closely with regional and functional stakeholders to develop account plans for existing and new customers, including pricing & promotional strategies and portfolio management. Assist in developing and implementing key account plans and agreements and monitor compliance.
  • Field Data Analysis: Gather field intelligence through sales force automation tool (TME) and monitor executional KPI for reporting, such as sales volume, pricing, stock management and brand listings. Analyse sales reports, market trends and dynamics to exploit opportunities in all existing channels within the market.
  • P&L Management: Perform account & area P&L and support reporting cyclical financial planning & analysis.
  • Contract Management: Initiate/terminate 3rd party relationships regarding in-store promotional and advertising activities in support of supervisor.
  • Trainings: Coordinating and provide trainings to Representatives and operator shop staff with support of Marketing and People and Culture (HR) departments.


  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Cross-cultural experience is a plus.
  • Young graduate or 2 years’ experience in sales and distribution / channel management / field trade marketing.
  • Knowledge/experience in travel retail channel is a plus.
  • Experience in consumer/trade promotions management is a plus.

  • Key Functional Skills required
  • Merchandizing Management to effectively utilize principals and techniques.
  • Distribution Management to effective analyse distribution channels / logistics, route to market (RTM) drivers in order to drive productivity and efficiency.
  • Territory Planning & Management to maximize the return on resources and adapt to changing operating environment (increasing regulatory restrictions).
  • Financial skill to interpret financial records (P&L and Balance sheet) in a business sense and relate it to JTI’s business objectives for communication with stakeholders.
  • Negotiation skill to resolve conflicts, make reasonable compromises and arrive at a decision involving various facts/ideas.
  • Trade Research to apply competitive intelligence and strategic insight to evaluate consumer buying behavior.
  • Trade Segmentation to segment selected trade outlets and analyze the intensity of the market activities.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • US citizen or US resident.
  • Valid car driving license.
  • Extended travelling (≥50%).
