Our Client

Our client is a very premium / luxury  French scented candle company with a boutique in NYC.

Objective

Responsible for the boutique (Staff of 2).

Ideal Profile

We are ideally looking for an experienced sales associate or retail sales supervisor looking to step up and manage a small store. We need someone who is bilingual French-English.

Responsibilities

STORE MANAGEMENT

  • DAILY SALES
  • STORE MAINTENANCE (CLEANING, RENOVATION, EXTERIOR FLORAL CONTAINER DÉCOR…)
  • PHONE ORDERS PROCESSING AND SHIPPING (MESSENGER, UPS …)
  • VISUAL MERCHANDISING (ROTATION OF WINDOW DISPLAY AND INTERIOR DISPLAY EVERY MONTH) FOLLOWING NEW PRODUCTS LAUNCH AND COMMERCIAL EVENTS
  • YEARLY SALES FORECASTS (SALES BUDGET, QTY FOR EVERY LAUNCH)
  • CONTAINER FORECASTS ON TAPERS, BUSTS, ANTIQUE AND OTHER STORE EXCLUSIVE PRODUCTS
  • SAMPLE SALE ORGANIZATION (EMAILING, ORDERS MANAGEMENT, CLIENTS DELIVERY…)
  • RETAIL DAILY AND MONTHLY SALES REPORT
  • RETAIL YEARLY SALES REPORT AND ANALYSIS

TEAM MANAGEMENT

  • -PART-TIME SALES ASSISTANT HIRING
  • TEAM TRAINING
  • EMPLOYEE STORE PLANNING AND PAYROLL FOLLOW-UP

STOCK MANAGEMENT

  • LIGHTSPEED STOCK MANAGEMENT
  • FERGUSON REPLENISHMENT ORDERS
  • LIGHTSPEED POS SYSTEM SOFTWARE UPDATE AND MANAGEMENT (CREATION NEW SKUS AT EACH CONTAINER’S ARRIVAL)

PRESS

  • PRESS EVENTS ORGANIZATION WITH PR JULIE LEONG TWICE A YEAR (LOGISTICS, BOOKING, PURCHASES, SAMPLES ORDERS…)
  • PRESS MAILING TO EDITORS AT EVERY NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH

STORE MERCHANDIZING / MARKETING / COMMUNICATION

  • EMAILING WRITING WITH PR JULIE LEONG TO INVITE OUR CUSTOMER FILE TO NOLITA COMMERCIAL EVENTS
  • STORE EVENTS ORGANIZATION (LOGISTICS, BOOKING, PURCHASES, SAMPLES ORDERS…)
  • MKT PLAN ADAPTATION TO US MARKET AND CREATION OF A MONTHLY EVENT CALENDAR AT NOLITA STORE
  • POP MATERIAL DEVELOPMENT AND PRINTING IN COORDINATION WITH FRENCH MKT DEPARTMENT (POSTCARDS, POSTERS…)
  • CUSTOMER FILE UPDATE AND FOLLOW-UP

WEB CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • WEB ORDERS CHECK-UP TO AVOID FRAUD
  • FOLLOW-UP OF CLIENTS RETURNS AND REFUNDS
  • CHAT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAILS FOLLOW-UP

Requirements

  • Networking skills, client development, strategic thinking, people management, communication skills, operationally sound.
  • Previous experience in luxury retail is preferred.
  • Impeccable standards of service and significant experience with luxury clientele.
  • Appreciated previous titles: Boutique Manager, Store Manager, Sales Associate, Store Manager, Sales Supervisor, Retail Manager, Retail Supervisor.
