Our Client

Our client for this position is European mid-size international Premium Chocolate brand, with very strong export business around the globe.

Objective

The゠Business Development Manager will carry on the development of the brand to the US local market, growing the business with an expansion in multiple market segment (Gourmet Stores, Liquor Stores, Gift Stores, etc…).

Ideal Profile

The ideal profile is a bilingual French English sales professional with experience in food on the US domestic market able to design a strategy and implement it for the US. The position reports to Europe, and French fluency is required to work with the rest of the team.

Job Description

  • Lead development and implementation of sale on different channel (Gourmet Stores, Liquor Stores, Gift Stores, etc…)
  • Manage sale and marketing budget, advertising, customers promotion plan and trade to maximise return and ensure achievement of objectives.
  • Identifying opportunity to ensure the extension of the business.
  • Monitor market conditions, challenges, opportunities, competition and make necessary adjustments to ensure delivery of the plan.
  • Work with top management to develop clear pricing strategies and guidelines for our brand within each channel to ensure appropriate price points and price gaps are maintained.
  • Work with marketing and logistic team to plan,create and execute development of key market.
  • Training, developing and motivating sale staff of customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree minimum (MBA a plus)
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in theUS domestic food industry
  • Bilingual English and゠French
  • Good commercial and human skills. Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent with MS Office, Excel in particular
  • VERY open to Travel
  • Used to work autonomously and from a home office
  • Familiar with multicultural and international environment
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Perfect presentation and communication skills
