This person must have a passion for cigars, brand building, and business development.
Objective of the Role
The CEO will be responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management of the company. This individual will drive the development of the brand on a global scale, overseeing marketing, sales, and operational activities to ensure sustainable growth. They will build a strong, performance-driven culture while maintaining the authenticity and legacy of the brand. The CEO will be the driving force behind the company’s expansion into new markets, with a particular focus on the U.S. and international growth.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial marketer with a strong commercial acumen and leadership experience in branded luxury goods or FMCG (not currently from the tobacco industry!) but they have a personal passion for cigars. This individual is a “doer” with a hands-on approach, emotionally intelligent, pragmatic, and an outstanding leader. They thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and are not bogged down by corporate bureaucracy. With a global mindset, they have a proven ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams while driving a brand’s commercial success.
