Our client for this CEO career opportunity is a private-equity backed, innovative and rapidly growing adult beverage startup, dedicated to crafting premium artisanal spirits with a modern twist. Their team of four passionate employees is committed to excellence in all aspects of their production process, ensuring that their spirits is not only exquisite in taste, but also environmentally sustainable and rooted in rich cultural traditions. Their vision is to create a brand that resonates with consumers, inspiring them to experience and savor the unique taste of their products.


We are seeking an ambitious and experienced CEO, who will also act as a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to take this startup to new heights. The ideal candidate will have the dual responsibility of leading the overall business strategy while also driving the marketing and branding initiatives. As a lean team, they are looking for someone who can wear multiple hats, inspire and guide their small but dedicated team, and foster the development of a strong and memorable brand.

Ideal Profile

We are looking for an experienced Spirits executive, ideally coming from a Branding background and with a previous successful experience in an entrepreneurial environment.


  • Develop and execute the overall business strategy, including setting and achieving short and long-term goals.
  • Oversee all marketing and branding efforts, including brand identity, messaging, public relations, social media, and advertising.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships and relationships with key industry players, including distributors, retailers, and influencers.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and targets are met.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings, acting as the face and voice of the brand.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement within the team.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role, ideally in the beverage industry.
  • Proven track record in brand development and marketing strategy execution.
  • Strong understanding of the spirits market, as well as current industry trends and best practices.
  • Fluent in English; fluency in Spanish is a strong asset.
  • Willingness to travel, as needed, to promote the brand and establish key partnerships.
  • Appreciated previous experience: Bacardi, Bardinet, Beam Suntory, Brown Forman, Campari, Constellation Brands, Distell, Camus Cognac, Diageo, Jose Cuervo, LVMH, Marie Brizard, Maxxium, Moet Hennessy, Patron Spirits, Pernod Ricard, Remy Cointreau, Stoli, Edrington, WEBB, William Grant & Sons, Zamora, etc.
