The company is poised for significant expansion across multiple channels, including professional, medical, and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC).

Objective of the Role

The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will lead the company’s commercial growth, driving expansion in both existing and new revenue streams. This executive will be responsible for scaling the professional and medical distribution channels while developing a high-impact DTC strategy. The role requires a dynamic leader who is both an evangelist for the brand’s mission and a results-driven business strategist. Reporting directly to the owner, this position will be instrumental in shaping the brand’s future and disrupting the beauty industry with bold, science-backed claims.

Ideal Profile

  • Experience leading sales in a beauty company with $50M–$150M in sales.
  • A passion for holistic beauty and wellness, with the ability to serve as both a brand ambassador and a business leader.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth through professional, medical, and DTC channels while remaining open to all potential sources of revenue.
  • A track record of success in disruptive beauty brands, with the confidence to support bold claims and innovative messaging.
  • Previous marketing experience is a plus, particularly in brand positioning and customer engagement.
  • A highly analytical and strategic thinker, comfortable in founder-led organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a multi-channel revenue strategy that expands professional, medical, and DTC sales.
  • Strengthen and grow the brand’s presence in medical and spa distribution networks, optimizing partnerships and driving deeper engagement.
  • Lead the development of a robust Direct-to-Consumer strategy, incorporating e-commerce, digital marketing, and CRM.
  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities across retail, wholesale, and emerging distribution channels.
  • Define and implement pricing, positioning, and promotional strategies to optimize profitability.
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with brand messaging and innovation.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of ambition and accountability.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to improve conversion rates, optimize customer acquisition costs, and maximize revenue impact.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience in the beauty industry, with a background in companies between $50M and $150M in revenue.
  • Experience scaling businesses across professional, medical, and DTC channels.
  • Strong understanding of digital commerce, customer acquisition strategies, and omnichannel sales models.
  • Background in disruptive or bold-claim beauty brands preferred.
  • Previous marketing experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional ability to balance brand evangelism with strategic revenue growth.
  • Must be based in the U.S. with the ability to spend significant time in Salt Lake City during the first three months.
