Our Client

Our client for this Communication Manager job opportunity is a large international beauty company at the early stages of development on the US market. They opened their US operations in Miami recently.

Objective

The Communications Manager will be expected to provide and implement the Communications strategy.

Job Description

  • Design the company’s communication strategy to effectively communicate to our key 3 audiences: Customers, Salesforce and Staff (each with a particular message – segmentation is very important!)
  • Responsible for the conceptualization, design, execution and/or coordination of all company internal and external communication (website, on/offline media campaigns, advertising, PR,and owned media) efforts and materials (design, production, etc.)
  • Responsible for planning and organizing all company internal and external events
  • Create and implement new social media strategy
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business (from a Sales and Marketing perspective) to be able to communicate effectively
  • Measure the effectiveness of communication campaigns (KPIs) and make real time adjustments to ensure optimized communications
  • Work closely with Corporate Communications Team and Digital Unit Team, as well as external Agencies (PR, Creative, Transmedia)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing and/or communications experience, ideally in a consumer product company
  • Experience launching and building innovative brands and GTM campaigns
  • Proven experience in leading, growing and managing a team
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional, fastpaced start-up organization
  • An excellent eye for detail and being creative
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (both conversational and written)
  • Plus: Experience in e-commerce
  • Appreciated previous experience: Chanel, Christian Dior, Clarins, Estee Lauder, Givenchy, Coty, Interparfums, Guerlain, Kenzo, LVMH, Puig, Roger & Gallet, YSL, Chanel, L’Oreal, Clarins
  • Appreciated previous titles: Social Media Specialist, Social Media Manager, Communication Director
