Our client is a leading European manufacturer of e-bikes, with a commitment to sustainable transportation and a focus on quality and innovation. They are expanding their presence in the United States and are seeking a Country Manager to represent their brand and lead their growth efforts in the market.
Objective of the Role
As the Country Manager for our client, the ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and developing relationships with key customers, retailers, and partners, driving sales and revenue growth, and increasing brand awareness and visibility. The Country Manager will also be responsible for managing operations and logistics, ensuring customer satisfaction, and developing and executing marketing and promotional campaigns.
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of success in sales, business development, and/or marketing, preferably within the cycling industry. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate the value proposition of our client’s products. They will also be highly organized, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. A passion for cycling and sustainable transportation is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet revenue targets and drive growth in the US market.
- Build and manage relationships with key customers, retailers, and partners, identifying opportunities for collaboration and growth.
- Manage logistics and operations, ensuring timely delivery of products and excellent customer service.
- Develop and execute marketing and promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive demand.
- Monitor and report on market trends and competitive activity, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing, preferably within the cycling industry.
- Strong understanding of the US market and cycling industry trends and dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate the value proposition of our client’s products.
- Highly organized, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to travel frequently throughout the US.
- Preference for candidates located in or near Denver, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, or Los Angeles.
