Objective of the Role

The Regional Sales Executive for the East Coast will be responsible for driving sales growth, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding the market presence of our client’s premium corkscrews. This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage and support independent sales agents, represent the brand with professionalism, and ensure the achievement of annual sales and profitability targets.

Ideal Profile

  • A passionate advocate for premium wine accessories with a deep understanding of the luxury wine culture.
  • Proven experience in regional sales management, preferably within wine, wine accessories, china, silverware or related industries.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train, support, and motivate sales agents.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing complex schedules and travel requirements.
  • Comfortable presenting to diverse audiences, from retail partners to consumers, in both small and large group settings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with independent sales agents, retailers, and distributors across the East Coast.
  • Achieve annual sales and profitability goals by identifying growth opportunities and implementing strategic initiatives.
  • Present new product launches, promotions, and customized solutions to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and wine-related seminars to enhance customer and consumer knowledge of our client’s corkscrews.
  • Expand the customer base by building rapport with existing clients and identifying potential new accounts.
  • Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Ensure optimal product presentation at retail locations, including merchandising and visual displays.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
  • Act as an ambassador of the brand by exemplifying professionalism and a deep understanding of the product.
  • Submit timely reports, including territory projections, travel plans, and expense reports.
  • Regularly update management on customer performance, market trends, and key challenges.
  • Utilize digital platforms and resources provided by the company to access promotional materials, pricing structures, and compliance documents.
  • Dedicate a minimum of 50% of your time to out-of-town client and partner visits, focusing on visits to top-performing accounts and at-risk customers.
  • Plan and execute multi-day trips with detailed itineraries to maximize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Communicate unforeseen changes or challenges during travel promptly to management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a regional sales or territory management role, preferably in luxury goods or wine-related products.
  • Strong public speaking skills, with the ability to conduct engaging presentations and tastings.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools for reporting, communication, and accessing sales resources.
  • Availability for extensive travel throughout the East Coast region, with the ability to manage a dynamic schedule.
  • Knowledge of wine culture, corkscrew functionality, and the luxury market is a strong advantage.
