Job Description
Our Client
The employer for this unique Director of Strategy & Trade Marketing career opportunity is a fast growing and the leading global brand for shisha/hookah consumables. They are turning a market driven by flavors into one driven by quality and branding.
Responsibilities
- Drives distribution and placement of core products in retail (on and off premise) environment
- Training of lounge shisha masters/staff in brand’s mixology
- leads consumer activation in off -premise accounts
- Implementation of consumption activation programs POS and/or tools in on and off premise
- Mapping of on and off premise universe within the specified territory per brand guidelines
- Analyzes territory and account specific business to clearly understand key business drivers
- Excellence in KPI execution
- Maintains retail (on and off premise) tracker complete with competitor activity as per brand guidelines
- Serves as the main contact point for his/her accounts 24/7
- Works collaboratively with retail (on and off premise) key decision makers to implement strategies and tactics that drive the brand and volume
- Proactively shares brand marketing activities to demonstrate key points of difference vs. competition
- Maintains consistent communication and collaborative working relationship with select distributor personnel
- Creates affinity for shisha, the brand and its products
- Ensures that the proper POS items are staged in the right accounts according to the brand’s guidelines
- Has on -hand/in stock the appropriate POS tools and/or replacements at all times
- Keeps track of POS placements per venue
- Routinely engages in activities to build relationships with key influencers in accounts and within the territory
- Proactively searches for creative elements to add to supported events that drive the brand image
- Develops relevant industry relationships (shisha community, promoters. etc.)
- Develops and implements incentives and staff activities for key customers
Requirements
- Bachelor degree is required
- Ideally a first previous experience in field sales with categories such as wines, spirits, beer, tobacco or cannabis.
- Ability to travel throughout the state
- Appreciated previous experience: Bacardi, Diageo, Moet Hennessy, Pernod Ricard, Medmen, Cura CS, Kush Bottles, Mammoth Distribution, RJ Reynolds, Imperial Tobacco, Philip Morris International, British American Tobacco.
