Job Description
Our Client
Our client is a very high end fine Jewelry brand with their US headquarters in NYC.
Objective
Assist with logistics of inventory control, production, repairs, store merchandising, shipping, sales/merchandise reports, prices changes, salon supplies, gift boxes and display orders. Provide administrative support to the department
Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly inventories, inventory reports and movements of merchandise reports
- Data entries, digital imaging, updates on inventory pieces, price adjustments
- Maintenance of loose stones and mountings inventories
- Keeping of vendor goods inventory
- Monitoring repairs for US stores
- Creation of memorandums and supporting sales documents for consigned goods and tracking of consignments
- Track production of all new/altered pieces in the US
- Provide sales staff with digital images and certificates
- Assist with licensed sales presentations
- Process price changes implemented by London
- Maintain jewelry and certificate database
- Assist with ordering, organizing and distributing salon supplies, gift boxes and display materials for all stores and the Licensed Sales division
- Domestic shipping: Assess appropriate insurance coverage and shipping method; maintain shipping and insurance records; communicate with office managers about when to ship and which method to use
- International shipping: Assist with shipments to London and Geneva; work with London’s shipping department; maintain shipping records
Requirements
- Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Office Suite, digital imaging, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, SAP database, shared files)
- Experience in merchandising/inventory management
- Ability to gather data accurately, compile it efficiently and create analysis reports
- Must be able to work independently on several projects at once and be highly organized
- Excellent customer service skills and administrative experience
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with management
- College degree
- Work experience in the high end luxury jewelry industry preferred
- GIA graduate a plus
- Experience with office environment and corporate policies and procedures
- Appreciated previous experience: Boucheron, Buccellati, Bulgari, Cartier, Chopard, FRED, Graff, Harry Winston, Mikimoto, Piaget, Tiffany, Van Cleef & Arpels
- Appreciated previous titles: Demand Planning, Merchandising Analyst, Merchandising Coordinator
