Job Description

Our Client

Our client for this Digital Director position is a California compliant cannabis fast delivery platform and service. As Digital Director you report directly to the CEO and manage a small CSR team while working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, engineering, and product to grow our user base and cultivate customer relationships.


  • Partner with the other departments to identify and refine which metrics/KPIs are most important for growth
  • Bring both traditional and creative ideas on improving KPIs and A/B testing those ideas
  • Analyzing data and user feedback
  • Exchanging ideas/data/feedback with other departments (Product, marketing, top management) in order to present results and make the product more user-centric
  • Optimizing conversion rate and applying CRO hacks to our application and business
  • Develop and implement front-end web code where appropriate to launch interactive tools and apps benefiting the marketing team’s goals
  • Conduct and present competitive analyses and market research
  • Propose creative new projects, tools and apps that attract prospects and convert leads to testing new approaches to capturing existing demand
  • Translate ideas to actionable items that deliver business results
  • Analyze, recommend and lead the implementation of improvement initiatives
  • Keep abreast with the latest trends and changes in UI/UX and digital marketing
  • Identify industry trends and insights


  • Previous working experience as a Growth Hacker or Growth Director for 4 year(s) preferably in a progressive ecommerce environment
  • Must be a card-carrying Data Geek
  • Deep understanding of the cannabis user base and behaviors
  • Programming knowledge
  • A/B testing and data analytics experience
  • Experience with growth hackings tools such as Optimizely for A/B Testing, MailChimp for email marketing campaigns, HubSpot for CRM, sales and marketing purposes, Zapier to automate workflows…
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO factors and key algorithm updates
  • Applicable knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Domain expertise in UI/UX best practices
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High standards of excellence and attention to details
  • Appreciated previous experience: Medmen, Cura CS, Kush Bottles, Mammoth Distribution, Weedmaps
