Our client is a prominent player in the beverages industry, undergoing an exciting transformation. They are endeavoring to create an exclusive Private Client Business focusing on delivering Ultra Prestige and Rare & Collectable champagne and spirits to the doorsteps of High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) across Germany.

Objective of the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Private Client Manager to spearhead the establishment and success of their Private Client Business. The individual will serve as the main point of contact for HNWIs, ensuring active engagement and recruitment, while championing brand advocacy for the Ultra Prestige range. This role entails fostering relationships with HNWIs, curating bespoke experiences, and collaborating internally to optimize regional opportunities.

Ideal Profile

The successful candidate will be a dynamic social connector with a luxury mindset, adept at understanding the lifestyle and expectations of affluent consumers. They should exhibit exemplary sales and partnership management skills, with an aptitude for building strong one-on-one relationships with VIPs. The candidate should possess expertise and ambassadorship qualities for our client’s Ultra Prestige Portfolio. Furthermore, an existing network and database of clients within the luxury sector are crucial for this role. Candidates from other luxury categories (watches, cigars, real estate, cars, yachts) are welcome so long as they come with an experience of dealing with high net worth individuals and have an interest in wines & spirits.


  1. Recruitment & Relationship Building: Actively create, develop, and engage in one-on-one relationships with VIPs and infiltrate their world through relevant touchpoints.
  2. Database Management: Construct and maintain a comprehensive VIP database and activate it through consumer engagement experiences.
  3. Driving Sales: Facilitate sales of Ultra Prestige products and collectables to private clients, ensuring a high-end experience throughout the sales process.
  4. Brand Activation & Execution: Collaborate with brand and marketing teams to devise and implement activations, brand strategies, and engagement plans.
  5. Promoting Regional Opportunities: Collaborate and foster synergies with Private Client Managers across Western Europe and establish an internal network to facilitate introductions and opportunities.


  • A highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and establish rapport with clients.
  • An existing database of clients garnered from previous experience in the luxury sector.
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively across functions with passion, charisma, and enthusiasm.
  • Experience in consultative sales or relationship management in luxury goods or wine & spirits, with an emphasis on luxury consumer engagement.
  • A robust network of clients interested in Champagne & Spirits.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • Schedule flexibility, including availability to work evenings and weekends.
