Our client for this Showroom Manager job opportunity operates a luxury furniture store located in the Orlando metro area.

Objective of the Role

The Showroom Manager will be the driving force behind the store’s success, blending a strong background in luxury furniture and interior design with robust sales and management skills. This role is pivotal in elevating the store’s reputation and profitability by leveraging a personal network and business acumen to significantly increase store revenues.

Ideal Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding and experience in the luxury furniture sector, backed by a strong foundation in interior design. An individual who brings a substantial book of business, coupled with a network of interior designers, will be highly valued. The candidate should exhibit high leadership qualities, not only managing a team of four but also actively engaging in sales to enhance the store’s performance. This role is suited for a dynamic and proactive professional who can seamlessly integrate sales prowess with effective team management.


  • Develop and implement strategies to increase store revenue, including leveraging personal networks and business relationships.
  • Manage and mentor a team of four, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to quality standards.
  • Actively participate in sales, demonstrating expertise in luxury furniture and interior design to assist clients.
  • Collaborate with interior designers and other industry professionals to expand clientele and business opportunities.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation align with brand standards and appeal to the target market.
  • Manage inventory, budgeting, and financial reporting, optimizing resources for maximum profitability.


  • Proven experience in luxury furniture sales and management.
  • Strong background in interior design with a portfolio to demonstrate expertise.
  • Ability to bring an existing book of business and network of interior designers.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing small teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Business acumen with a strategic mindset.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Interior Design, or related field preferred.
