Our Client

Our client for this Store Designer / Commercial Designer opportunity is the Travel Retail and Latin America office of a worldwide leader in Luxury Skincare and Cosmetics.

Objective

The Store Designer / Commercial Designer will be responsible for the creation, design, development and management of all personalized instore projects for the brand in the Americas (Local Markets and TR), ensuring the brand image identity is respected as per International visual merchandising guidelines

Ideal Profile

This opportunity is meant for an゠Architect & Visual merchandising profile, with at least 3 years of experience in the same activity in Selective and ideally cosmetics business. Passionate with a high sensibility to retail and its dynamics, team player with an entrepreneurial spirit,゠flexible but rigorous and very organized.

Job Description

  • Design (sketches, 3D) as per customers store guidelines, all personalized store design projects as per Brand image
  • Develop all technical production drawings ( dwg, CAD) for store architects approval
  • Manage and control ゠Purchasing ゠offers and Production ゠process with subcontractor
  • Coordinate with external customers and sub-contractors, all projects implementation from workshop till final store opening.
  • Create, develop, and control all in store shelving planograms guidelines on the 3 axes as per International guidelines for all markets
  • Coordinate with central headquarters and follow up all merchandising tools orders to be used in store implementations
  • Manage, coordinate and control with local markets all instore merchandising visuals campaigns with the local marketing coordinator.

Requirements

  • Bachelor in Architecture or Interior Design (at the very least and a Master Degree highly prefer)
  • 3 years of previous work experience preferably with luxury goods or consumer goods (Fragrances, Perfumes, Fashion, Apparel, Watches, Cosmetics) (Travel retail or duty free experience is an obvious plus)
  • Outstanding presentation and analytical skills
  • Very proficient with MS Office,゠CAD, SKETCH UP, DWG, Photoshop et /ou illustrator
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Very organized and detail oriented
  • Up-to-date US work authorization
  • Appreciated previous experience:゠Bacardi, Cartier, Dior, Chanel, Clarins, Clinique, Cosmetics of France, Coty, Diageo, Elizabeth Arden, Essence Corp, Estee Lauder, Givenchy, Guerlain, Kenzo, Kiehl’s, Kraft Foods, L’Oreal, Creme de La Mer, La Prairie, LVMH, MAC Cosmetics, Mars, Mondelez, Nestle, P&G, Parbel, PepsiCo, Pernod Ricard, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Sisley.
  • Appreciated previous titles: Project Manager, Visual Merchandising Manager, Merchandising Project Analyst, Merchandising Project゠Coordinator, store designer, Commercial designer
