Our client is a holistic well-being beauty brand focused on melanin rich skins. They launched in the US in 2021 and are distributed in department stores like Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom, as well as online.

Objective of the Role

The General Manager for North America will spearhead the company’s operations across the U.S. and Canada, marking a critical phase in the brand’s growth. This role is pivotal in driving the expansion, enhancing brand awareness, and increasing market share through strategic planning and execution, embodying the brand’s core values of inclusivity, innovation, and integrity.

  • Leadership and Strategy: Lead the business operations and strategic direction in North America, collaborating closely with global leadership to align regional strategies with overall corporate goals.
  • Brand Building and Marketing: Amplify the brand’s presence and consumer base by developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that resonate with the brand’s unique positioning and target demographics.
  • Sales and Business Development: Drive omnichannel development and expand the wholesale footprint, managing sales activities across all channels and building enduring partnerships for optimal brand representation and growth.
  • Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability in line with the brand’s core values.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial health of the region, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management, ensuring resource optimization and profitability.
  • Compliance and Operations: Ensure seamless operations, legal compliance, and efficient supply chain management, maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.


  • Proven experience in a general management role within the beauty or wellness industry, with a strong focus on brand growth and team leadership.
  • Exceptional knowledge of the North American market, consumer behavior, and retail landscape.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute plans effectively, driving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships across cultures and functions.
