Job Description

OVERVIEW

A new luxury brand specializing in rare must-have products is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead its global sales strategy. This role is responsible for scaling-up revenue growth, expanding sales channels, optimizing client engagement, and developing an elite sales team.

With an international clientele of ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), this brand requires an accomplished industry leader with extensive experience in the ultra-luxury sector, a strong personal network of clients & collectors, and a proven track record in high-value sales, in both corporate and retail settings. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic vision, an ability to foster a high-performance sales culture, and a deep understanding of bespoke client relationship management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Operations & Performance Management

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Prepare & manage global sales forecasts, performance tracking, and reporting
  • Optimize pricing & selling strategies to maximize revenue
  • Analyze market trends & client purchasing behaviors to inform business planning

Sales Channel Development & Expansion

  • Expand and refine multi-channel sales strategies, including:
    • Direct private sales to UHNWIs
    • Strategic partnerships
    • Exclusive showrooms and invitation-only events
    • Digital and e-commerce strategies tailored to UHNWIs
  • Identify and develop opportunities for sales growth in key global markets

Sales Team Development & Culture

  • Recruit, scale, and lead a high-performing global sales team
  • Develop training programs focused on consultative selling and relationship-building with UHNWIs
  • Establish a performance-driven sales culture with clear KPIs and incentive structures
  • Foster collaboration among sales, marketing, finance, and product teams

Customer Experience & Engagement

  • Ensure a seamless, high-touch client experience from initial engagement to post-sale service
  • Develop and oversee bespoke client interactions, including private viewings and VIP events
  • Partner with marketing to craft personalized engagement strategies
  • Implement surprise-and-delight initiatives to enhance customer loyalty & word-of-mouth

CRM

  • Oversee and optimize the CRM strategy to maximize client engagement and conversion
  • Implement data-driven strategies to refine client segmentation and outreach
  • Develop frameworks for relationship-building, follow-ups, and strategic gifting
  • Ensure the highest level of discretion and confidentiality in client interactions

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrably high performer with consistent over-achievement of sales targets        
  • Extensive experience in ultra-luxury sales, catering to UHNWIs, discerning clients & collectors
  • A well-established network of high-net-worth clients, industry leaders, and cross-category partners
  • Minimum 14 years in luxury sales, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role, ideally in both corporate & retail luxury environments
  • Deep expertise in private client sales, bespoke experiences, and high-value transactions
  • Strong leadership experience, with the ability to build and scale elite sales teams
  • Expertise in CRM, data-driven sales strategies, and lead conversion
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
  • High level of discretion and ability to manage relationships with VIP clients
